Ying Wang is a director and artist based in LA.
Born in a small village called Lotus in southern China, Ying Wang began her artistic journey at Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts. After receiving her BA in New Media Arts in 2024, she moved to LA and is now pursuing her M.F.A in Film Production at Loyola Marymount University.
Ying's upbringing is deeply rooted in land, nature, and nostalgia. Her works focus on stories where humanity transforms into spectacle under extreme circumstances, She is also passionate about exploring vivid, female-driven perspectives.
